This is a special motorcycle adventure. It is a couples exploration of a great part of Europe with great places to visit, great places to stay, and lots of relaxation and fun. We call these trips the "princess package" motorcycle trips.
The best part is that Pam is coming with me. She enjoys the great locations and the friendships. We have 4 couples on this trip - Jason and Heather, Roman and Marta, Armando and Monica, and Pam and me.
Packing for 2 is a bit different and a bit trickier if your goal is to only have 1 checked bag for both of us ... 2 helmets, 2 pairs of boots, 2 armored suits, rain gear, clothes, tools, etc. ... and a nice air-bag vest for Pam : ). Interestingly, the air-bag requires a special disclosure to be attached to the bag for TSA inspection.
Last night, I finalized the route with all the places we are stying to generate the GPS files for the group. It was a good way to get up to speed on the route, which had been planned a few months ago, check dates, hotel reservations, etc. Also, coordinating the pick up of our motorcycles in Split.
As always, getting ready for a trip like this is always fun. And. getting ready with Pam is even more fun. The last time Pam and I rode together was in Norway. A truly amazing "princess package".
